The successful candidate will join a team of other marketing coordinators in other offices. He/she will analyze RFPs to coordinate proposals and presentations, including scheduling project milestones and reviews, conducting reviews, and working with technical proposal leaders/project managers to ensure quality material is submitted and delivered on schedule. The marketing coordinator will schedule and conduct project kick-off meetings with proposal leaders/project managers, principals, and other staff to strategize for a winning proposal and/or presentation. The marketing coordinator will research, gather, and edit proposal materials, including gathering boilerplate text and formatting proposal information. The coordinator will participate in all aspects of proposal preparation, including the development and collection of standard materials (project job descriptions and resumes), writing, graphics, document editing, content review, printing, and final document assembly. He/she will also coordinate the presentation and technical staff rehearsals during the presentation stage. Coordinator will interact with marketing staff from other offices. Coordinator will be responsible for the quality and consistency of KCI’s image in proposals and collateral material. He/she will coordinate and provide in-house production services and will be responsible for quality control and proofing of related content. Also responsible for database mining and maintenance during marketing process.


KCI is seeking a marketing coordinator with experience in the A/E/C industry to be part of the firm's corporate marketing team, which supports the proposal efforts of our 40+ offices across the country. The candidate must demonstrate success working with varying disciplines and establishing a process in which proposals are organized, submitted timely, and of high quality. Experience with coordinating and developing proposals as a prime consultant and experience with SF254, SF255 and SF330 is required. The candidate must have experience with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Experience working with a marketing database, such as Cosential or Deltek Vision, is highly preferred.


This position requires effective time-management, writing, planning, organization, and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will take initiative and be able to work independently. Strong organizational skills and written and verbal communication skills are a must. Ability to work and coordinate efforts from multi-discipline teams across the firm's geographic reach is desired. Must be able to adjust to multiple, concurrent deadlines.

Degrees / Licenses (R)equired – (P)referred

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field preferred.
