The successful candidate will join a team of other marketing assistants, coordinators and managers, including those in other offices. He/she will assist with proposals and presentations, including working with technical proposal leaders/project managers to ensure quality material is submitted and delivered on schedule. The marketing assistant will attend project kick-off meetings with marketing leaders, proposal leaders, project managers, principals and other staff to strategize for a winning proposal and/or presentation. He/she will research, gather and edit proposal materials, including gathering boilerplate text and formatting proposal information. The marketing assistant will assist in all aspects of proposal preparation, including the development and collection of standard materials (project job descriptions and resumes), graphics, document editing, printing, and final document assembly. He/she will interact with marketing staff from other offices.


KCI is seeking a marketing assistant in our Sparks, MD headquarters office to be part of the firm's corporate marketing team, which supports the proposal efforts of our 40+ offices across the country. Experience with proposals, working with an A/E marketing database such as Cosential or Deltek Vision, and experience in the A/E industry is highly preferred.


Requires effective time-management, writing, planning, organization and interpersonal skills. Successful candidate will take initiative and be able to work independently. Strong organizational skills and written and verbal communication skills are a must. Ability to work/coordinate efforts from multi-discipline teams across the firm's geographic reach. Must be able to adjust to multiple, concurrent deadlines.

Degrees / Licenses (R)equired – (P)referred

BS in Marketing or related field highly preferred.
