Actively support project lifecycle activities, including gathering requirements, database and user interface design, testing, issue tracking, developing and delivering training, implementation planning/execution and change management. Work with technical staff to translate client requirements into highly specified system design documents considering architecture, security and availability. Support technical resources throughout the design phase activities, including logical data modeling, interface design and interface prototyping activities. Conduct needs assessment and business process analysis to understand current business processes and recommend business process improvements incorporating industry best practices. Partner with project and program managers to track the project and update the schedule status regularly in accordance with deliverable schedule and produce reports for stakeholders, senior management, and project and program managers.


5+ years of experience with business analysis including gathering requirements, database design, design specifications, application interface wire framing, research, developing and conducting training, developing and executing test plans, creating documentation and facilitating projects. Experience with business process analysis and business process improvement, including conducting needs analysis and gap analysis. Experience implementing GIS solutions for clients, including configuration of COTS products. Experience providing task management for projects.


Communication Skills
-- Excellent organization, communication and writing skills. Ability to create and customize training documentation, facilitate requirements gathering workshops, lead activities related to business process mapping, evaluation and improvement requirements documents, design documents (wireframe mockups, ERD, architecture diagrams), test plans, process maps.
-- Effective communicator/liaison with technical team, end users, clients and stakeholders.

-- Database design including database modeling, data migration and security. Experience with relational databases and access via SQL.
-- Ability to understand and document integration between solutions and develop a detailed interface design.

Familiarity with Configuration of Solutions for Clients, including:
-- Experience with the ESRI tools.
--Knowledge of ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Collector, Survey123, ArcGIS Server and GeoCortex
--Familiarity with ArcGIS desktop tools.

Degrees / Licenses (R)equired – (P)referred

Bachelor's Degree or Graduate Degree in Environmental Science, Geography, GIS, Computer Science, Information Technology or closely related field.
