Will perform specific and limited portions of a broader engineering assignments, to include water and wastewater infrastructure and treatment and storm water collection/treatment facilities, under the supervision of an experienced engineer. Applies engineering principals and standard practices in specific project situations to conduct investigations, studies and designs for a variety of environmental engineering projects. Able assess, adjust and correlates data, recognizes discrepancies in results, and follows direction through a series of related detailed steps or processes.

Responsibilities will include assisting in the preparation of engineering studies and designs in the field of environmental engineering.

Ability to interpret engineering plans, maps and analytical documents. Working knowledge of CADD practices and procedures. Ability to perform engineering calculations.


0-5 years of environmental engineering experience.


Computer proficiency in MS Office Suite (MS Project a plus).

Working knowledge of and experience with various CADD programs (i.e., AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant3D, and Microstation) desirable.

Incumbent will be a self-starter who will engage in the changing workflow processes by completing quality work on time and actively seeking new assignments after completion of assigned tasks.

Degrees / Licenses (R)equired – (P)referred

Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Environmental or Mechanical Engineering. Engineer-in-Training Certification desired.
