KCI Technologies, Inc., a dynamic employee-owned engineering firm, currently has an opening for senior level Scheduler in the Northeastern United States. This position may include travel or temporary assignments that require travel. Staff will function in an Agency role and be responsible for reviewing and analyzing CPM schedules, preparing new schedules for construction and design projects. Staff will be required to prepare and analyze schedules, prepare cost estimates and negotiate change orders and establish an effective working relationship with clients, contractors, and designers.


Agency CM experience required, PE or CCM a plus. More than 15 years of experience preparing and analyzing construction CPM schedules. Project types include renovations and systemic replacement of existing building systems, whole building renovations, partial renovations and new construction for buildings, schools, healthcare facilities, laboratories and other Government facilities, experience managing design development for replacement projects and experience managing construction contractors progress and quality is required. Experience in Primavera P6 and prior versions is mandatory. Experience preparing estimates and critical path method schedules, analyzing CPM schedules for conflicts performing diagnostic analysis of schedules for the named project types is required.


Knowledge and experience in preparing and tracking RFIs, construction submittals, changes, monthly payment applications and CPM schedules is required. Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications. Familiarity with establishing and maintaining document control on a construction project and use of document control software. Ability to use a computer and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong writing and speaking skills. Ability to work with and establish relationships with clients, contractors, and design engineers.

Degrees / Licenses (R)equired – (P)referred

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Technology required. EIT, PE and/or CCM certifications are preferred.


Project location is based in Washington, DC office.
