This is an entry level position for recent graduates desiring to pursue a professional engineering license in the telecommunications field. Conduct civil and structural design in the preparation of civil site plans and tower structural analysis, including the design of utilities, grading, roads, stormwater management and general land planning for new telecom facilities. Perform assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and certain criteria in preparation of engineering design work. Perform tower, platform and rooftop design and analysis calculations using industry standard structural design software. Develop construction documents related to new and existing towers and communications facilities. Limited exercise on details of work and in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives. Learn to apply quality control procedures.


2-5 years of professional experience. A graduate of Civil Engineering with interest in Civil-Site and Structural Engineering encouraged to apply.


Ability to interpret engineering plans and/or perform calculations. Knowledge of drafting materials, equipment, symbols, practices and procedures. Demonstrate computer utilization of commercial structures design/analysis software programs. Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microstation and AutoCADD.
