Responsibilities will include being part of a team of professional engineers assisting in the preparation of plans and contract documents. Under the supervision of a licensed Professional Engineer, candidate will perform engineering design tasks from preliminary to final design including design of roadways, bicycle and/or pedestrian facilities, and be exposed to the latest in “Complete Green Street Design”. Candidate will assist in the development of plans, profiles, cross sections, quantities, and cost estimates; prepare engineering reports and specifications while also performing calculations and analysis for design.


0 to 5 years - Experience and/or coursework in highway design and knowledge of AASHTO a plus. Entry level engineers will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects from small sidewalks, hiker/biker paths and ADA compliance projects to intersection reconstruction, roundabouts, roadway widenings and major interstate interchange designs.


• Microstation/Geopak/InRoads (preferred) or AutoCaD Civil 3D
• Knowledge of basic highway design principles
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
• Must be able to work as part of team

Degrees / Licenses (R)equired – (P)referred

• Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering (Required)
• Engineer in Training (EIT/FE) (Preferred)
• Valid Driver’s license (Required)
