Apply technical expertise to lead teams on project for both conventional and alternative delivery projects. Work with plan and profile construction drawings associated with roadway improvement projects. Support Project Managers and Engineers with engineering design tasks and attending client meetings and client coordination. Will also work with various utility owners to evaluate conflicts and provide resolution.


Applicant should have 5-10 years’ experience with water distribution systems and facilities design as well as wastewater collection systems, facilities design and development. Candidate will also have civil Infrastructure experience, including telecommunications, electric, gas and storm sewer design. Additionally, candidate should demonstrate utility coordination experience with multiple utility owners relative to highway/roadway, improvement/construction projects. Understand use and need for S.U.E. (Sub-surface Utility Engineering).


Will possess ability to work as an individual and as a part of team to produce construction plan sets. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microstation V8i/Geopak. AutoCAD Civil 3D 2012 or later a plus. Skilled in using S.U.E. to analyze and identify conflicts with proposed improvements as well as analyzing solutions to utility conflicts.

Degrees / Licenses (R)equired – (P)referred

B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering. P.E. License in the State of Texas.


TxDOT/roadway improvement project experience a plus. Pre-employment drug testing is required as a conditiion of employment.
