Duties

Provide overall coordination of KCI's Municipal Engineering operation, including marketing, contract management, client management, drawings and specification review, staffing and project assignments, business management, technical assistance, quality control assurance, mentor and assist with the development of junior staff.

Project Management - Plans, develops and leads engineering projects concerned with unique, complex or conventional problems. Maintains liaison with individuals within and outside the organization with responsibility for acting independently on technical and business matters. Manages staff, resources, budgets, and project schedules.

Business Management - Assists the Civil / Environmental Division Chief with marketing, client development, technical and price proposals.

Experience

Water & Waste Water - Minimum 10-15 years of experience in municipal design and construction of Water and Waste Water system design.

Skills

Knowledge of drawing preparation, preparation of technical specifications, AUTOCAD computer aided design, and preparation of contract documents. Must be proficient with Project Management practices, and comfortable with Business Development activity including proposal preparation. Strong technical writing, business writing and verbal skills.

Degrees / Licenses (R)equired – (P)referred

Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering and Professional Engineering License.
